Assalammualaikum wr wb...

I had a 좋은 하루 (joh-eun halu - great day) today.

Finally managed to start off the day on a good note ~ taking the train to work instead of the usual cab ride =oP

My Ah Boy finally looked prim and proper with his new hair cut.

There was a department lunch for us, for the NEA Team that's moving over to the ACE Team. Orh ! I gained weight =o( Hopefully, with the amount of food that I ate. Fried bee hoon, fried chicken, assorted kuihs, etc.. That was my breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next two days =oP

Amanda and I managed to sort out the work allocation issues and distribute Ah Boy's load.. *Phew*

We ended the day with me, Yusoff, Miguel, Dinesh, Paul, Axl and Yuana crapping around. Yusoff was the center of attraction as everyone was exposing him dating a chinese girl. Miguel concluded that Yusoff is "spoiling the market" by dating a chinese girl while everyone else was eyeing me to check out if I'm doing the same thing ~ as in dating a chinese guy. Oh no ! I am not ! ! I'm not seeing anyone *Phew*

We had loads of fun teasing each other but this has yet again reminded me that cross cultural dating is a very painful and hurtful thing to go through. Who knows it better than I do. With my very first experience more than 10 years ago =oP Glad I could share some experiences with the boys.

My Ah Boy, has all grown up. He managed to get a BTO flat. He would be getting his flat in three years time. Congrats, Miguel ! !

But after our conversation, I realized how much my LDS colleagues meant to me. They are such a joy to hang out with =o) Fun loving people {tho they do get on your nerves every now and then} But it's okay. We're still in Vital. That's more important =o)

It was really a good start to my week. With loads of good things happening, hopefully the transition to ACE Team would be a smooth sailing one.

By the way, my colleagues have yet to forget about introducing me to a guy by the name of Sazali. Let's hope they are NOT up to any nonsense. Or forget ALL about it would be better.

Okay, maybe there's ONE upsetting thing. The ROM of one of my colleagues this Saturday. Honestly, I do not mind helping her but how do I tell her that I cannot stay to help until the end of the event. It will end late and I'm to go home on my own that late ?

I know she wants to save some of her money. But this is once in a lifetime event. Spend some money. She doesn't even want to engage a professional photographer which cost a measly hundred bucks =o( No make-up artist for herself too ? ? There's more but I shall not list it all out. SIGH... Should I go or should I not ? Seriously contemplating right now =o(

Anyways, I shall end off with ~

What are the best times to reflect on the course of your life? Whenever you are near water, such as the ocean, a quiet pond, or a small stream. Bodies of water, particularly if they are moving, help to stimulate your creative thought process.

Similarly, if you are near a fireplace or even a candle, while the flames tend to have a calming effect, they also help you to reflect on what is really important and what you want to be doing more often. The brilliant, quiet stillness of a candle flame can have an anxiety-reducing effect on your entire being.

Believe it or not, you can actually choose to feel comfortable about how you spend your time.
Philosophically, but also practically speaking, up to this minute in your life, you did indeed have enough time to accomplish everything you accomplished. And that's been quite a lot. When you choose to feel comfortable about how you spend your time, it immediately helps to reduce anxiety.

You can also choose to feel good about your accomplishments. To bemoan the fact that you have only accomplished so much by such and such a time or such and such an age is to remain in a perpetual state of discontent. Feel good about what you have accomplished and look forward to what you will accomplish, and you will have a greater sense of control of the time in your life.

Let's hope tomorrow too will be a 좋은 하루 (joh-eun halu - great day)
